In doing my makeup artistry I solely provide traditional techniques! This incorporates skin prep, high-end products, + blending and setting to achieve a similar light and glowing look to airbrush with guaranteed stay power for a long wedding day! I finish with a high power setting spray to seal in the makeup for all evening wear through the heat, tears, and dance sweat! In the last 5 years my brides have been continuously pleased with the natural feel and longevity of my traditional makeup application that I haven’t had a reason to switch or add on that service yet!

Think of your preview appointment as a sneak peek of your makeup look! Some people refer to it as a ‘trial’, but I like to think of it as an extension of your wedding day services! 

This is a time that will allow us the chance to meet before the wedding and hopefully will excite you + put you at ease as you begin to perfect what bridal makeup look you are envisioning! We will talk through all things skin, skin prep, products, and colors as well as look through any inspiration photos that spoke to you! I absolutely encourage feedback and all adjustments you’d like for the makeup look we came up with once you’ve had time to wear it! It's so important to me that you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself and that you feel confident. I will take detailed notes on everything we talked about and products used so I can replicate the perfected makeup look for the wedding day!  I host all previews at my home studio in south Lincoln, NE and this session usually takes about 90 minutes & can work perfectly on a day that there is a photo session or a bridal shower!

Each bridal package includes a false lash application for the makeup preview and the wedding day & is something that I encourage each bride to at least try during the makeup preview - you might be pleasantly surprised how natural and comfortable my style of false lashes can be! I also like to remind all brides that false lashes are absolutely not necessary for professional photos if they don’t make you feel 100% comfortable and like yourself!

On the morning of, I plan to arrive 30 minutes before start time to settle in and set up my station so I can begin with the first gal promptly at start time! 

I will always make a schedule for myself and for you + your bridal party and I ask for 45 minutes per person and 1 hour for the bride if possible as this window makes the most relaxing + seamless time frame for brides! To determine our start time, I work backwards from the time that your photographer and/or wedding planner needs your bridal party to be completely ready!

This is a very common question I get asked as all brides want to feel glowing and flawless on their wedding day! Starting a skincare regimen many months out, being consistent, + finding professionals you trust and love working with is the key to that “bridal glow”! 

FACIALS: 

• 6 months out : talk with an esthetician about which facial is best for your skin to start!

• 3 months out : Oxygen facial + Dermaplane

• 7 days out: Hydrafacial + Dermaplane
  

DERMAPLANING: a manual exfoliation of the face using a small surgical blade to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells + peach fuzz!

O2 FACIAL: involves a machine that infuses concentrated molecules of oxygen into the outer layer of the skin. The O2 applied to the face and neck is infused with vitamins, essential nutrients, and botanical extracts leaving the skin glowing!

HYDRAFACIAL: combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and red + blue light therapy! Red light therapy helps with inflammation and stimulates the production of collagen and Blue light therapy helps to kill all acne causing bacteria!

In addition to my on-site travel for weddings, I host all makeup previews and special-event makeup services at my in-home studio in Lincoln, NE. I can’t wait to get to know you and get you glowing!
